Tournament kicks off June 1st: The USA and neighboring Canada will open the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup on June 1st. Matches will be played across six West Indies venues and three US stadiums, including iconic locations like Kensington Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy. This is the first ICC tournament hosted by the USA.

The initial round sees 20 teams divided into four groups of five. Top two teams from each group advance to the Super Eight stage, further divided into two groups of four. Seeding from the first round will be maintained if teams qualify for the Super Eight. The top two teams from each Super Eight group reach the semifinals (Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago, June 26th & 27th) with the final showdown set for Barbados on June 29th.
